in the mail

We received a fun package in the mail the other day. It's contents included some sweet cards from our dear friends and their children. And, a stash of hammy downs from a couple of my favorite children's lines.

Petit bateau onesies (shown above) Hanna sweater pants and pilot cap(also above), and a Flora and Henri undershirt and cap! All in Phoenix's sizes! I was ecstatic. Phoenix's wardrobe struggles a bit when it comes to....quality. He has plenty of clothes, just not a lot that I love. So, this was a fun boost to his wardrobe...mostly for me!

Doesn't he wear it well? If only I.could've sagged that paci for this pic!

Tornado

Phoenix has transitioned into a new phase.

He is a walking, drooling, climbing little mass of a person.

He is our most mischievous and destructive child yet.

He has his moments of sweetness and he is always cute. But I can't turn my back on him for two minutes without something being destroyed! He is exhausting me.

He is fiercely independent, (unless he is hungry). As frustrating as it can be at times, this is one of my favorite personality traits in my boys. It gives me comfort that they will think for themselves and be strong individuals (someday)

I love seeing how God creates them all so different.

Can't wait to see how this plays out.

while at another pumpkin patch with some friends today, phoenix managed to escape from my sight.  (don't worry, it was all enclosed, he wasn't really that far away).  this was his adventure.
